Want to learn more about what we do?

SPS is a CNC Machining & Precision Manufacturing Shop

We use industry-leading technology to craft custom components for our clients, but it isn’t our equipment that sets us apart. You rely on quality components as part of your business model, so we honor that trust by setting the standard for reliability and precision. We also know that your expertise may be supply chain logistics, product design or engineering, so when you have questions about our processes or machining materials, we’ll be here. We’re only a call or click away.

Our Start

Wondering how it all began? We opened our shop doors in 2006. Our Owner and Operator, Cory Pascoe, recognized an industry need and acquired a small metal manufacturing shop’s equipment to build a solution. He brought his experience working as a product designer and estimator at an international manufacturing company and developed processes that eliminated errors, waste and inconsistencies.
The food and agriculture industry flocked to the shop for stainless steel equipment and custom sanitary fabrications.

Today, our shop serves clients from all of the US.

Two Years Later

Our business was steadily growing, so we asked our clients how could we better support them? We heard a need for precision machining in addition to the traditional CNC machining work, so we invested in those our capabilities.

Adding Our Precision Machining Department

We’re invested in our clients’ success, so we added a precision machining department to meet their expanding needs. This included:

  • Expanding the CNC machining department’s capacity
  • Adding a large, sophisticated CNC vertical mill
  • Hiring talented professionals

New Designations & Awards

While Superior Process Solutions started as a small CNC shop, manufacturing custom components, our service style and client commitments attracted large, influential industry leaders. Thanks to our craftsmanship, SPS earned a new designation as a Tier 2 vendors in both the food and agriculture industry and the trucking industry.

SPS Purchases Its New Home:  An 11,000 ft² Workshop

Our clients appreciate our stability and depend on SPS to consistently deliver value. In 2011 we purchased our workshop in the heart of a town dually known as a manufacturing town and transportation hub, Springfield, MO.

While many manufacturers lease their workshops, our decision to purchase was driven by a desire to offer stronger value and more stability to our clients. By owning our shop outright, we’ve eliminated supply chain variance for our clients.

Shops who lease space are vulnerable to

  • lease rate spikes driven by real estate shifts
  • forced relocation due to sale
  • maintenance issues and delays

Our purchase insulated our clients from pricing spikes, production disruptions and supply chain risk.

Delivering Full-Suite of Custom CNC & Precision Manufacturing Solutions

Our shop today is home to clients from five major industry sectors varying in size from boutique to international giant. We’re proud of our investments in industry leading software and use our ERP and CMM inspection technology to deliver on our core client commitments. When we started in 2006, we had a few CNC machines.

Today, our shop is brimming with sophisticated technology, talented professionals, and we’re counting in departments instead of machines.

Meet Our Owner, Cory Pascoe

How did this all start? Like most thriving businesses, SPS started with a problem. Cory witnessed companies struggling with the unreliability and inconsistency of machined components.

Equipped with a degree in Applied Science in Industrial Management program, and professional experience using  sophisticated CAD and CAM software as a Product Designer and Estimator at a prominent, international manufacturing company, Cory started engineering a solution.

He focused on delivering more than components; he delivered confidence in the consistency.

The SPS dependability strengthened his clients’ ability to maneuver and make wise business decisions and the demand for precision machining grew.

Cory has continued to add capacity and breadth to SPS’s offerings to continually better serve clients.
